Shaun Pearce

Aircrew Officer

Shaun’s 14 years of military service provided him with a unique mix of technical and practical skills.

Initially trained as an aircraft technician, he transferred to Australian Army Aviation as an aircrewman and worked on Blackhawks, MRH90s, and Chinook Helicopters conducting troop insertion/extraction and air medical evacuation. These skills have been utilised and enhanced during his career at RACQ CapRescue, where his main responsibilities include search and rescue missions and emergency patient retrieval from the scene of an incident or hospital. Shaun’s driven by his commitment to provide a highly professional and vital service within the complex and challenging environmental conditions of Central QLD.
