National Volunteer Week (NVW) is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteers. From Monday 17th to Sunday 23rd May 2021, NVW will celebrate the significant contribution of Australia’s almost six million volunteers. Each year these volunteers dedicate over 600 million hours to help others.
During NVW, RACQ CapRescue will be celebrating the great work that our StepUp CapRescue Volunteers do throughout the year. Our volunteers assist with fundraising events (before, during and after), administration duties (newsletters), cheque presentations, attending community events, gardening and cleaning, and more!
We provide an essential service, but we can’t do it alone. It’s only with the help of our volunteers that we can serve the Central QLD region, and this is why they deserve to be recognised and celebrated throughout NVW.
