RACQ CapRescue takes pride in delivering quality events that bring the community together and ultimately keep the rescue service flying.
In September we held the highly anticipated RACQ CapRescue Degustation, presented by QMAG. Great support was shown by the community in the eighth year of the event.
An incredible result of $27,500 was raised from an evening that not only helps promote and fund our lifesaving service, but also provides an opportunity to celebrate our sponsors and supporters.
Guests of the evening were treated to a spectacular dining experience which saw renowned chef and regional food ambassador Matt Golinski with special guest Glen Barratt, present a superb six-course degustation, celebrating local produce.
The courses were paired with premium drinks from Brockenchack Winery and Capricorn Distillery Co and the evening was capped off with fantastic entertainment from the Short Fall.
Events such as these cannot go ahead without our generous supporters, in particular QMAG who were once again Naming Rights Sponsor.
DC Motors also continued their commitment as Celebrity Chef Sponsor and Babcock Australasia were the Entertainment Partner. This year’s Main Course Sponsor was Moore Australia and Coco Brew provided accommodation for our celebrity chefs.
Other sponsors included Hutchinson Builders, Blackwoods, Chris Warren Homes and ATL Equipment Maintenance. We also greatly appreciate Capricorn Food and Wine Festival including our event in their program.
