Partners Recognise 30 Years of CapRescue

CapRescue has been recognised across Central Queensland as it marks 30 years of service, reflecting on three decades of emergency response, innovation and strong community support.

Since its first mission in 1996, the service has evolved from a single helicopter retrieval into a vital aeromedical network delivering rapid care across the region. Over that time, thousands of people have experienced reassurance hearing Rescue300 overhead.

Operations Manager Kirsty Wooler said the longevity of CapRescue has been supported by both community contributions and strong corporate partnerships.

“Community support through fundraising and donations has always been at the heart of CapRescue,” Ms Wooler said. “That local backing, alongside the commitment of corporate partners, allows the service to operate and continue planning for the future.”

As CapRescue marks 30 years, major partners have recognised the milestone and shared their support for the service and its role across Central Queensland.
