As a dual qualified aircrew and rescue crew officer, Jake has been an integral part of the RACQ CapRescue team since 2006.
In addition to working on helicopters, Jake decided he wanted to fly them too and commenced work as a RACQ CapRescue pilot in 2015, after completing his training across multiple Australian flying environments. In the air, it’s Jake’s job to safely transport the medical and rescue crews to people in need. On the ground, he looks after the day-to-day running of the base. Wherever he works, the knowledge that RACQ CapRescue provides an invaluable and life-saving service is what drives his willingness to step up for his community.
