Patrick learned how to be an aircrew officer in the Australian Army, flying on Blackhawk and Chinook helicopters in East Timor and Afghanistan before transferring to a civil emergency services position in Melbourne.
However, Rockhampton has always been home and when an opportunity arose with RACQ CapRescue, Patrick was eager to serve the region he grew up in. In addition to aircrew officer duties, Patrick conducts check and training for all RACQ CapRescue aircrew officers, rescue crew, paramedics and doctors. This commitment to the well-being and safety of his colleagues is also what drives his dedication to helping his community.
