A Positive & Lasting Impact

At CapRescue, we’re thrilled to announce the generous support of Australia’s leading renewable energy company, Squadron Energy. With their backing, we can continue our critical lifesaving rescue missions in Central Queensland.

For nearly 30 years, we have served the Central Queensland community, completing over 500 rescues last year alone and logging more than 788 flight hours. Covering an expansive 350,000 km2 area, our emergency helicopters protect over 300,000 people, responding to accidents and medical incidents with a world-class aerial search and rescue service, available 24/7, every day of the year.

Jason Willoughby, CEO of Squadron Energy, expresses pride in supporting our vital service, recognising our longstanding commitment to community service during crises. Squadron Energy’s investment in emergency response infrastructure aims to have a lasting impact on the wellbeing of Central Queensland’s residents and workers.

Our Operations Manager, Kirsty Wooler, welcomes the partnership, acknowledging its potential to save lives and enhance our emergency response capabilities.

“With Squadron Energy’s support, we can more effectively serve the diverse terrain of Central Queensland, from coastal areas to remote regions where hardworking locals and tourists alike benefit from our services. We’re grateful for the public’s appreciation of our service, understanding that while the sight of our helicopter may evoke sadness, it represents a vital lifeline in times of need.
As CapRescue, we’re eager to work closely with Squadron Energy, reinforcing our shared commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our communities. Together, we can continue to provide essential emergency services across CQ.”
