Market leaders and cooling solutions company Coxons Group have taken a bold approach to 2022 by expanding their footprint in the Capricorn region with an exciting workshop redevelopment and relocation in Rockhampton, as well as bedding in the 2021 acquisition of MRC Group Australia with their workshop in Mackay.
Founded in 1986, the Central Queensland based, family-owned business outgrew their former Rockhampton workshop which was their only operating facility in the region since 2015.
With last year’s acquisition of MRC Australia (formerly Mackay Radiators and Coolers), Coxons cement themselves as the go-to cooling maintenance and repairs partner for the heavy industries in the Capricorn region and along the eastern seaboard. The expansion has boosted the organisation’s capacity to minimise equipment downtime through an expanded service network, as well as stimulate job creation for workers in our region.
Scott MacDonald, Coxons Group Australia CEO, says the recent growth has increased the reach and opportunity of the newly expanded company to ensure focus remains on long term relationships, and growth in the region.

Coupled with the recent move in Rockhampton, into their largest facility housed in over 5,000 square metres under roof, the groups opportunity for growth has increased significantly, with added opportunity to continue building on the industry-leading quality Coxons are known for.
