As CapRescue celebrates 30 years of providing lifesaving aeromedical and rescue services across Central Queensland, long-standing partner Jemena is continuing its commitment to helping keep Rescue300 mission-ready.
Through its Community Program, Jemena has supported CapRescue since 2017, recognising the important role the aeromedical and rescue service plays across the region where both organisations operate.
The partnership is particularly significant in the Gladstone region, where Jemena has a strong operational presence and CapRescue continues to provide a vital emergency response. In 2025 alone, Rescue300 completed 88 missions across the Gladstone Shire, flying 133 hours to support patients and communities.
Acting CEO Kirsty Wooler said partnerships with organisations like Jemena reflected a shared commitment to the safety and wellbeing of Central Queensland communities.
“For 30 years, CapRescue has been there for people on some of the toughest days of their lives, and partnerships like this help ensure we can continue providing that support well into the future,” Ms Wooler said.
“Whether we’re responding to a remote worksite, a regional community or someone needing urgent specialist medical care, it’s the support of Queensland Health, our corporate partners and the community that helps keep Rescue300 ready to respond.”
Jemena spokesperson, Laura Brackley, said supporting CapRescue aligned closely with the company’s commitment to safety.
“Many of our teams work remotely across Central Queensland in locations that can be difficult to access, so it’s reassuring to know CapRescue is there should our employees or members of the community ever need assistance,” Ms Brackley said.
“Safety is one of Jemena’s core values, and partnering with an organisation like CapRescue is a natural fit because they’re out there every day helping keep people safe.”
CapRescue provides emergency aeromedical and rescue services across more than 350,000 square kilometres of Central Queensland at no cost to patients when tasked.
